New Business Sales Executive

Brief Description of the Role

The role entails managing and developing a sales territory of prospects.

The sales person must adopt a Consultative Sales approach to acquire and develop customers:

  • researching prospects internally and externally
  • understanding the key business issues of the client
  • engaging at all levels within the prospect
  • gaining commitment from the key decision-makers
  • identifying budget requirements and timescales
  • taking the lead in proposal generation and driving the opportunity forward
  • understanding the competition and the objections involved
  • and
  • negotiating the successful closure of business.

The successful candidate will...

  • deliver the hSo customer experience and value proposition while selling managed IT solutions.
  • work with hSo technical consultants and internal support to create the commercial proposition to customers and clinch the deal
  • work on deals providing a range of managed services, with typical order values of £50K-£500K managed services
  • be professional and smart at all times

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • lead sales effort on solution sales opportunities
  • create demand derived from understanding of prospect and the industry
  • provide innovative solutions based on our portfolio of products
  • negotiate contracts including bespoke commercial models and terms
  • offer mentoring and guidance to lower level employees
  • provide accurate and timely information to sales management

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Board presence, strong presentation, sales, negotiations and influencing skills
  • Professional, positive, organised, team approach
  • Entrepreneurial

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience
  • Consultative Sales
  • Managed services – Network, Hosting, Applications including VoIP
  • Technical assistance within selling process
  • Gain commitment with all levels in customer organisations
  • Background: small/medium managed services company

WORKING HOURS

9:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

LOCATION

You will be based in hSo's City of London office. Travel to other UK locations may be required. A clean drivers licence would be preferred.

REMUNERATION

Competitive package dependant on experience
(To include basic + commission + benefits)
